I dont know much about tennis, but I want to get my girlfriend a nice tennis racquet thats light and high performance. What would you recommend?

What type of tennis shoes should an avid tennis player get?

So far the Nike Air Max Court Ballistec 1.2 shoes are the ones I’m leaning towards. I’m trying to find a decent tennis shoe that is durable/lightweight and no more than $80. I just started playing tennis again so I’m not really sure which shoes are good.

How far should a tennis player jog for conditioning?

I’m a high school tennis player, and I’m going to start conditioning for tennis next spring.

I’ve heard that if tennis players, because it’s a lot more sprinting than long distance running, shouldn’t train to jog for very long periods of time. Instead of helping you, it would hurt you by conditioning the body to do something you’re not asking it to do during a tennis match.

So, the question: how much/far should a tennis player jog for?
